Next chapter in the Flater-saga, his pet gull. This was somewhat out of my comfort zone, I’m more at home at hard surface modelling. But you know: everyday is a schoolday!
After modelling the basic shapes, I refined the body, legs and beak in sculpt mode. The wings are made of a basic shape and added feathers using a particle system, using an instance of a feather in hair mode. I used weight paint for the feather placement. The rest is materials and a lot of tweaking.
