Thank you, @usernew!
I think it’s been already completed.
Anyway, nearly everything I wanted to created in this project has been done:
exterior
– new front and rear bumpers
– new front and rear optics
– new side mirrors
interior:
– new dashboard
– new front panel
– new central console
– new steering wheel
– new door panels
– new overhead console
Maybe, there will be yet another one-two renders and I will switch to another project.
The question is what to do next?
Many people asked me to make some tuts on modeling, rendering, etc. I thing it’s a good time to start making it. But still I’m hesitating what complex object to choose for that tutorial (like a car seat, steering wheel, etc)
Thanks, Pilot! Yeah! it’s coming along really well and it’s hard to decide what to do next. Maybe a chariot from 19th Century? or a Chevy SS muscle car? Or perhaps an aeroplane? hehe
I would love to see tutorials from you! Yeah, I think instead of making a full fledge car or vehicle, it would be better if tutorials are done in parts like model a seat, or a door or bumper or wow to do stitches on leather setas and steering wheel or some keys things to keep in mind when making a complex object like a car or train… What’s your youtube channel? WOuld like to subscribe so I get notified if you ever make some tutorial.
I don’t have a youtube channel yet ) Once there is something interesting to show, I’ll create it
As to the next project, I think an airplane would be the most interesting choice. Actually, I have one very old and abandoned project related to aviation. The only part of that project that was completed - it’s a radial M14-P engine. Who knows, maybe it’s time to resume that project (Yak-52), or start a brand new one.
Here is yet another render. The last more or less noticeable changes were made to the model months ago. So, I decided to consider the project as completed
As to the next project, I think Beechcraft Bonanza G36 / Baron G58 will be a good choice as they have a lot of things in common. So, stay tuned
Thank you!
I plan to start a new project and record a video of its creation process.
I haven’t decide yet whether it will be a simple timelapse with some comments or a complete educational video. But hope it will be interesting for you
Thank you!
As for the video, I started a topic about aircraft modeling long ago, there I posted videos of modeling process: https://blenderartists.org/t/beechcraft-baron-g58-video-timelapses
I noticed that the channel had a very few views whereas video creation itself took a lot of time. So I decided to stop recording new videos for a while, but continue to work on that project when I have some free time.
Currently I’m studying different photogrammetry techniques in context of car modelling. The idea is to minimize the overall time for a vehicle shape recreation having accurate cameras coordinates in space and a rough mesh as a starting point.
I hope there will be something interesting to show soon)
Yeah, I understand. I also stopped making turntable animation cause there are barely any views. Like, it took 9 hours to render HD turntable and the views didn’t even cross 100
