Speaking of AI slop, within hours of me uploading my Simply Loopy addon to Blender extensions, while it was still in review, somebody took my code and ran it through an AI, generating a bunch of half-copied garbage, and then re-uploaded it as their own work. And then this addon got approved by Blender. 
It happened so fast that I suspect it might even be a script that downloads Blender addons and slopafies them automatically, then re-uploads.
So how’s that for an AI revolution, when somebody breaks all kinds of GPL terms, then wastes the time of Blender Foundation reviewers, who somehow get fooled by this.
If Blender is approving AI copied addons, then this will be the first and last time I submit anything to Blender Extensions. Not even just because of the GPL violations, but because how can you trust anything on the official extensions platform if this is the case? If they approve broken AI slop, then what about malware?
