Generate PBR Seamless Texture with ComfyUI and Blender

In this written article you will see how to generate PBR Seamless AI texture with the help of ComfyUI and Blender.

What is ComfyUi?
ComfyUI is a web node based as generator that allow you to generate images with different type of models that works as checkpoint:

  1. Stable Diffusion v1.5 (initial models)
  2. Stable Diffusion XL (efficiency and speed models)
  3. Flux (more realistic models)

Why learning ComfyUI?
By learning ComfyUI you can expand also with Lora model, to apply little changes to initial checkpoint models and also openpose that allow you to generate a character with pose.

There are also many different ways to experiment, in this case we extract from txt2img workflow information about normal, diffusion and curvature (as displacement translate)

In particular we will start with Salt AI that allow us to generate texture with nodes as cloud ComfyUI with NVIDIA gpus to have great performance while doing AI related tasks.

Salt AI (Comfy UI on cloud):

The workflow of ComfyUI use in particular mtb nodes that allow to convert initial image (diffuse) into normal, height and curvature as AI image texture and Cr Seamless Texture nodes that allow us to apply some improments.

If you use ComfyUI with your pc (locally) remember to use Save Image instead of SaltOutput, so you can save your images.

As second thing to remember is to download mtb nodes and cr seamless texture from ComfyUI Manager by installing “Missing Custom Nodes”.

After that you need to download and rename the texture for Blender with Node Wrangler Add-On to recognise diffuse, normal, height and curvature as displacement by activate bump and displacement feature.

Hello, I am the developer of AIGODLIKE and there have been new updates recently. My English is not very good, and I hope you can give it a try

Hi Yorsha, thanks for sharing, I saw the node should be Gen cloth right?

This is just a preset, you can also make it yourself, such as stone, metal, or wood

Ok thanks, do you have discord?
