Geometry breaks when subdividing

at 10 levels of the unit everything is fine, but at 11 everything breaks


My specs: rx 5700, ryzen 5700x, 64 ram

Why would you want to use 10 subdivision levels?
Actually: why would you want to use more than 3 ? Which is already a lot.
If you want to model this egg shape, you need to get as close as possible before using subdivision.

I’m just testing, and the issue resolved itself, after applying the modifier the topology became normal

You never ever ever should go higher than 5 levels. Why do you need 100 million faces on your sphere? I’m surprised you could even go that high without crashing
