This Geometry Nodes beginner Tutorial walks you through the process of making a really helpful nodegroup for blender Geometry Nodes. Usually when offsetting geometry or instances with a texture it displaces diagonally into the positive or negative only while we want it to go randomly in all directions for a more natural look. Since I don’t want that diagonal displacement only and after adding the same nodes over and over again I made those Nodes a nodegroup and added the advanced functionality to control the offset along each axis individually.
