just wanted to share my latest model I’ve finished recently. good ol’ German Type VIIC sub. I was planning to do one particular scene in UE5 and was going to need a submarine model, so I made one for the occasion. in the end, the sub wouldn’t work in that scene and I think I’m going to scrap the idea entirely, but hey, here’s the sub… LOL
this isn’t any particular submarine from the VIIc series, more like a general representative from the class. I was so frustrated while searching for references and plans. it seems that each and every one of the units built was more or less different from the rest of them, be it in small or large details. so in the end I created a mish-mash of various details I found interesting enough to include. the end result is not perfect or historically accurate but I’m OK with it.
