Hello everyone,
I’m quiet familiar to Blender 2.63 and 2.67, but not to 2.49.
Unfortunately someone wants some models from me which need to be in 2.49.
That’s because he’s working with his own engine and these only takes 2.49-Data.
I read, that as long as I don’t need animated stuff (which I don’t so far) I can simply load the 2.6x with 2.49.
This looks fine, but the renderings are pitch black and I have no idea why (new lights and cameras don’t change anything).
So I tried .obj, which results in some strange model, where only some vertices of my model seem to be left.
Than I read, that this might be a problem with python, so I tried .stl.
This got the whole model to 2.49 but joined all meshes together to one object and deleted the materials.
Last try of mine was to “append” the models;
the materials and objects are there, but don’t get rendered at all and don’t look solid in the preview (so seem to be only in wireframe).
I’m sure, this is a stupid, newbie-problem, but still I’d be verry glad to get some help.
Thank you so far
Jouline
