After watching Andrew Price’s new tutorial on making a photorealistic fruit splash, I was inspired to drop a bit of a more complex thing into water: a human!
I used MakeHuman to make the girl, but the rest is done in Blender. It’s an early test render, but I’m looking for critiques on the hair and pose for the moment. She’s supposed to be looking like she’s reaching out for something. Perhaps a reverse scenario of the Titanic?
lol cool!
Another update. Bubbles aren’t perfect yet and I’ve been having some trouble with the fluid simulation. The fluid seems to barely interact with the girl (as an obstacle) at all. I’ll probably redo the hair at the end as well, clumping it together more as though it was wet. This will do for now.
Holy moly!
Just a thought but maybe skewing the cloth more as if it was being torn into movement by the fall would add to the scene.
Also, maybe a bit of a blue tint to the scene would make it more dramatic?
