Glass Bottle shading issues

I’ve created a model of a perfume bottle and I tried to get as round corners as possible and even beveled the edges. However this doesn’t change anything about these weird shading issues in the inner corner. I have Subdivision Surface 2 as a modifier. Thanks!

Hi,

May you share your .blend file?

Yes of course! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fRe2lsM_0jYb5P5VZXTlXxGi-NqXTOJs/view?usp=drive_link

Gotcha

May I also ask you: what’s your Blender version?

Hold on I’ll send a file.

The thing is you have far to much loops on the inner shape.
So this should be enough

Thats the result

I’ve added some more nodes to your shaders:

Shader Nodes

I have also increased your Transmission Roughness value all the way up to 1.000
By changing Transmission Roughness value you can regulate roughness for transmitted light that goes through your object (bottle):

I’ve added a cube behind your bottle so that you’ll be able to see a light reflection that goes through your glass:

By regulating Fresnel value you’ll be able to detect how much light goes off a layer and how much goes throught it.

I’ve also increased your Subdivision iterations for both Viewport and Render values up to 3.

Here’s your .blend file:
perfume.zip (3.8 MB)

I had to zip it because its initial size was more than 5MB, which cannot be uploaded here.

Thank you very much, is there a quick way to reduce the loop cuts like you did?

Double click the edges to select a loop (shift dbl click for multiples)
and then dissolve them

As far as I know, you can use Decimate modifier for that, but I’m not sure.

BTW, here’s the result with turned-on Denoising and turned-off Noise Threshold options for Viewport. IMO looks great. I would’ve even bought it if there were some sticker on it.
