Glass (Plane) Shatter Out question...

Hi I’m new to the forum so sorry if this is a nooby question :o
So basically I have a plane which is set up to shatter (the end effect will be a mirror which a bullet travels through if that helps). I have the custom pieces set up and the particle system and such but the problem I’m having is I can’t get it to shatter from the center outwards and I cant seem to get the pieces to go outside the original plane, like for the pieces to go in every direction right now they just go straight up. ::frowning:
