Gloster Meteor F.Mk 3 (1949)

Having completed the Messerschmitt ME262 a while back, I decided to complete the pair of first-generation jets from the late war period by modeling the Allied Forces counterpart in the form of the famed Gloster Meteor. The aircraft shown here represents an RAF version of the Mk 3 generation from around 1949.

Very nice looking model! I really like the details on the landing gear.

(If you don’t mind a critique, I think the resolution on the bump map could be better. The rivets could benefit from better resolution, but otherwise, a really nice job.)

Thanks @Mark06GT ! I agree that the normal maps for those rivets could be of a higher resolution. I might have somewhat overlooked this issue when focusing on the final render scenes. It was during one of the closeup renders that I noticed the problem and thought of removing that render from the post. Nonetheless, I still wanted to show the details of the landing gear so I kept those renders in the end!

Wow, this looks amazing, great attention to detail!
