Going Underground

Modelled these London Underground styled escalators recently and will be texturing/shading them in the following weeks. I try to achieve something near to photorealism so to keep me motivated I’ll post my progress here. Feedback and criticism is always welcome! :slight_smile:

Off to a good start. I like the wires in combination with the mirror modifier. I hadn’t thought of that one before, and it gives a good overview of the modelling.

Have been working on the floor texture in the last days. Everything done in Substance Designer. The level of dirt is controlled by a map which I painted inside Blender Texture Paint and then exported to Substance Designer. The concrete look is based on two reference pictures I found on wikimedia (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e1/Plaistow_station_bay_platform_look_west_with_C_Stock.JPG, https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3f/Plaistow_station_look_east2.JPG).
