Hey everyone, I have released part 1 of my 2 part gold watch tutorial. You will learn how to model the main mesh in this video. Part 2 will be the materials, I will update this post with part 2 when it’s available.
I started a channel called Final Result, whatever the thumbnail is, that will be the final result of the tutorial. When I was learning I couldn’t stand seeing great thumbnails in a tutorial, then halfway into the training realizing we are not making anything close to that.
I would recommend that you have some experience in Blender before watching this. I did try to call out what keys I pressed, but I may have missed some. If you have a bit of experience with modeling you shouldn’t have any trouble.
I started over on this model and recorded the process, this one took over a week.
This is the tutorial result, which is not bad for an about 2 hrs of work.
