i saw another way yesterday that might do bump map loking really nice
sculpt mode unlimited clay
the only thing left is to mark the name in editor
and it’s a lot smoother then doing it with bump or disp modifier!

To see what Atom did, apply the subsurf modifier, then apply the displace modifier, then check the model in edit mode. It does create geometry, no uv tricks or anything else…
