Got a new PC but

So now I can use Blender 4.x. But it is not compatible with older versions. Is there a setting to emulate older versions of Blender? The newer version(s) are horrible and way too complicated to use. Everything is done with nodes and the setups look like a tornado hit a spaghetti factory. Are there alternatives to nodes?

Try again. Give us some background information and more details.

What version do you try to use? 2.49?

Use the previous version and use blender 4.1 only for rendering.
You’ll need a little time to be familiar with the new version.
But it won’t take that long. :slightly_smiling_face:

※ blender 3.6 can open upper version files, and the saved files open in lower versions.
But I don’t know if it’s possible to support the version that’s too low.
