GPU rendering black surface with a scaled noisy displacement texture

The title says it all. When I link a noise texture to the displacement output and scale it at all, the GPU renders the surface as completely black. My CPU has no issues with it, but it is much slower. Does anyone know of this issue or anything like that? I can’t link my blend file bc I’m a new user.
