Grease pencil question

hello there
maybe I overlooked something but is there a way, when editing a grease pencil drawing, to “simplify” it like in Inkscape?? making it a path first??
a simple circle for example, has enough with 4 “nodes”, a grease pencil one takes much more…

Hi

You can tweake Your Grease Pencil stroke before You start draw.

In User preferences - Editing - Grease Pencil.

Manhattan + Euclidean Dist…Set Density of the stroke.

In Picture…1 Circle are default settings…2 are with setting in picture…3 are with simplify too.
