Curious, what did you use to create the face & eyes? Whenever I create a face (whatever plug-in) it always ends up deep in uncanny valley… :joy:

For the face, I’m terrible at sculpting human anatomy so I used a DAZ character model as a base, then I added the details (pores, etc), shading, lighting, hairs, etc (for this render I used this face as a base : daz3d.com/xiu-lin-9-hd).

About uncanny valley, you need to use cheats to trick the viewer! Good/simple lighting, DOF, volumetric, glare, lens distortion, vignetting and film grain are some of your best partners in crime!

As an example, these two eyes both looks good but something looks off on the right one, right? The “little light refraction” (don’t know the exact name) make it more believable! :slight_smile:
