Wow! Stunning work @Joanna_Kobierska!:star_struck::+1:
Did you create the eyes, and were the neck feathers made with the particle system?
I would say that the back and side feathers should be bigger though.

Eyes are two spheres - one for lens (glass material) and one for eyeball (a sphere with a hole for pupil) with a texture from a modified stock photo I bought (It doesn’t require credit and I was too lazy to find the link).
Yes all feathers are particle systems.

This is one of my favorite birds… I had a bunch of them when I was young. Very clever guys.
Great Job!!!

That’s an amazing render. Even better is the shaded-model view, to let me know I’m not looking at a photo.
I always have a greater appreciation of the work when the wires are shown.
Thanks for today’s inspiration!

WHAT!!! A lot of renders when you zoom in to view the actual size, things fall apart quickly as it becomes obvious that it’s just a 3D render, but this on the other hand… DANG! The attention to detail is incredible!

It’s actually only a half-res since, since I rendered it in 8K.
I used some techniques from 3d character pipeline, like micro displacement.

I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
