Check this out!
C&C Please!
Allright…looks like it’s `guitar mania’ around here
It’s looking very good so far! I only think you should make ‘holes’ in the pickguard where the pickups are, it now looks like they have been glued on it.
Keep up the good work!
Okay, Thanks
Looking good. Stratocaster? Make sure you make the body thinner at the place that you set it on your knee.
the body is looking good. shouldn’t the pickups have 6 posts each instead of 5?
No, I lookt at my own guitar (Fender) and saw that there were 5.
???
what kind of Fender is it?
I don’t know… I’m still a beginner…
strange… well anyway the model is looking good.
Lol yeah, are you sure? I have never seen a pickup with 5 posts and I just checked www.fender.com and did not see any guitar with 5 posts in the pu… Is it a bass guitar or a `normal’ electric guitar?
There are 5 string electric guitars(that aren’t bass guitars). I don’t know about Fender, but I know SBM makes em.
[EDIT] There are 5 string electric guitars(that aren’t bass guitars or banjos).
Yaaaa… - I saw a 5 sting guitar once - a banjo :-?
Actually, it’s thinner on the opposite side, where the guitar touches your stomach. The side that rests on your knee (if playing sitting down) is the full width of the body.
As for the model… Good start. My only crits:
- The left side of the pickguard needs some refinement. The top comes out further to the left, which makes the inward curve deeper. The bottom left curve also needs to be more rounded.
- The screws may be a bit too big.
- As mentioned, there need to be six poles on the pickups, one for each string. You could take the easy route and make the pickups Lace Sensors, which just have a cover and no protruding poles.
OW OOPS! I does have 6 things
Woops. You’re right. I had my guitar right in front of me when i said that too. Maybe I was holding it upside-downl
