Hair & fur tutorial for 2.40

My pleasure!

I´ll see if I get more time to write more tutorials in the future.

This tutorial is great also. And for those who have not seen the efbie hair tutorial vid:

This one is comparable to the wiki but you see it in action.

Thanx.

JoOngle,

Could you post the .blend files used in the tut? I can’t quite reproduce hair to match the quality of your samples. My hair comes out looking like hay.

The image below is on the blender site under new features for 2.40. Do you know who created it and whether or not there is a .blend file available?

Thanks,

Rick

Thanks for the tut, JoOngle!

@dukytyme–Thanks for the video tut URL. It doesn’t cover using alpha to fade the strands out like JoOngle’s tut, but it does cover weight painting for length and density where JoOngle’s doesn’t…

Put 'em together, and you have a fairly complete set–I learned more in about 20 minutes than I have since the hair features were put in!

IT LIVES! IT LIVES! IT LI…oops…sorry…wrong context. IT WORKS! IT WORKS! YAY!
