Halo - For When Sentient Life Gets Troublesome

Finally bashed out the last iteration of my Halo.
Terrain was created in Quadspinner’s Gaea suite. The rest was modelling in blender with cycles and eevee for the ring and nebulae respectively.
Twas then thrown into Topaz Studio for a final colour and effect pass.
The terrain textures ended up being 828 x 61440 at half res as full caps my Titan x’s vram completely.
I’d export one 8k set from Gaea at a time, then stitch it all together in PS afterwards. Safe to say… That’s not been a fun or speedy experience.

Some more madness with this. Got the Rayleigh scattering model down thanks to DevilFX’s work and some adjustments to get it running on a non-spherical mesh. Just tweaking the terrain and fall off shape of the atmosphere at this point. Lotsa fun.
