Halo stays at back layer despite positioning

Hi, I have a halo material that is always behind the other objects no matter where I put it. As you can see in the attachments, it is clearly in front but renders in the back. Also, when I switch the material to wire or normal, it goes where it should. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Using Z Transparency on those alpha mapped planes, right?
A halo will always seem to be “behind” planes with ZTransparency. Use raytraced transparency at least on the foremost alpha plane to change that.
