I hand painted everything. I guess aside from the stencils I used for the text but everything else was hand painted. It’s really hard to paint a scene like this. I don’t know how the pros do it.
Warm, authentic scene. Your struggles just make it better. I live in Southern California, and such scenes are familiar. Singling out and painting things we see often and take for granted creates a very special attraction, for me at least. There is a good amount of detail, but not too much. This is a lovely direction of work.
