I’m still new to Blender and I’ve gotten to the point where I understand Normal maps, but, is there a way of just using a bitmap or alpha to show depth in the GLSL shaders?
In the pic below I have a simple winch cover on the front of the vehicle. Is there a way to give the cover more depth with just a bitmap or something, and then using the norm setting and slider? (The image will be overlaid, eventually, with camo, and writing, etc.)
Grrrr…it’s a bumpmap, not a bitmap, I guess, but it worked great the last time I tried it, and the time after that…don’t know what I was doin’ wrong initially, but I got it now.:spin:
