The Blender that I uploaded doesn’t allow me to add texture or images that didn’t come with the software when I uploaded it. I am using the materials and textures that I have access to. But, when I get a chance i’m going to upload Blender 2.59 since they’ve recently updated Blender.

you can use any texture you just have to set the texture type to image and find in the the files

Funny idea! Why are there no eyes and nose?
I see that you subsurfaced and added the mouth per cut edge loops at the sides of your moon. Work at the rim line so that it seems round at these vertices as on the rest and add some stars and you have a cooler render!
I only did the mouth because the mouth on my human characters always seemed to deform my character’s face and make him or her look wrinkly since the vertices would overlap other vertices. My main focus was the mouth. I’m kinda happy with it, but i’d love to add stars and a moon texture.

And for what it’s worth, I rather like your little Moon, just the way it is right now. “Improve upon it” if you like … feel free … but you can and should also be happy with what you now have.
Furthermore, if, for the purposes of your show, you don’t need more “moving parts” to get the job done, there is certainly a strong argument to be made for: “… then don’t put them in.”
I like that. I guess I made the female version of that one.
