Hard-Surface Study / MINOLTA SRT-101 Camera

Hard-surface model of the MINOLTA SRT-101 camera from the 1960’s, the original courtesy of my dad. Hope you like it!
Modelling was done in Blender 2.93 with some use of hard-ops and minor clean-up tools using mesh-machine. I’m using K-Cycles 3.0 beta to render. Main textures were made in Substance Painter using UDIMs, with Designer used for the camera-door grip and GIMP used for text layers. The camera film models were made much the same.
Wood material and HDRi were sourced from PolyHaven. Dust textures were sourced from textures.com.

Fantastic work! You captured it perfectly.

Having spend many an hour behind a Mintolta SRT camera, it brings back so many great memories.

Thanks for sharing a time machine render.

All those small details, like scratches and dust make it looks almost real. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome photorealistic work. I think maybe you can add some visible scratches to the top of the Minolta text for create more realism.
