Have some unwanted lines with Freestyle! So, what's the reason for that?

Hi,

I’m working on a toon style animation and trying the Freestyle seriously for the first time but I’m getting a stupid issue that I can’t figure what’s causing it and how to solve it! Any help or tip (ASAP) on this issue is very welcome…

So, the problem is that I’m getting a few “extra” lines in renders that are not supposed to exist, like in this example:

It shouldn’t happen, I suppose… because it doesn’t happen in other identical parts of the meshes.
Is this a bug or some setting that I’m missing? I’m using 2.67, with materials set to Toon.

Thanks in advance.

maybe you accidentaly separated your mesh at those edges, try removing doubles (found in the specials menu, w), other than that it could be your freestyle setup, but hard to tell from a screenshot alone.

Nope, checked all that before posting this thread… no duplicated faces, edges or vertices.
But how stupid can I be?! I forgot to try “recalculate”… done! The faces were somehow in the opposite direction.

Sorry about that, but it might help others facing the same issue
Thanks anyway.
