Heavy scene have low performance (not enough RAM?)

Your world seems to be a bit… “constricted” ?? I wonder why other users buy at least 16GB… some even 128GB… (and these even some years before )

Is 64gb ram overkill for blender?

Is 64gb ram overkill for blender? Will I benefit from it for modelling and rendering high poly scenes?

most users have problems that they are using too much RAM because their scene are BIG…

Is there a way to stop Blender crashing your PC with excessive RAM usage?

Sometimes when I make a heavy scene, while the graphics card can handle it, and I can get fine GPU viewport rendering, hitting F12 will see all my RAM getting used up and I have to shut down my PC. Can’t tell you how much time this loses me on jobs. Any possible way to get Blender to just not do that besides the obvious of spending ages making all my textures low res until it stops happening. I’d rather Blender just tell me my scene is too large.

Anyway… back to your problem:

but this modeler merged everything with booleans + used basic decimate on top - this model is UGLY, it’s BAD, I hate it,

is giving blender the creeps ?

Maybe try by decimating ( and apply ) this one model and have a look ??
