Hedgehog Cave 2

Had this structure laying around for quite a while and didnt know what to do with it, so I decided to continue a small “storyline” from a scene I made a couple of years ago.

For this scene, I especially focused on working out the mossy feel of the cave, using a juniper branch texture like in my previous scene. The hedgehog is a very very basic model I created years back, which is not exactly meant to be looked at up close, many flaws I tried to cover up with its stings and fur.

Look great. But also very ‘heavy’… What is poly count / render time/

No worries on the hedgehog, since the scene layout makes the cave the subject of focus, it all works out.

The cave is awesome by the way, love the texturing and lighting.
