Hi all,
can someone point me in the direction of some good modeling tutes for someone totally new to Blender? Thanks.

Have you tried looking around a little? This is a very commonly asked question.

Also, when in doubt, Google it.

try to make gus, guess is the standard intro (but dont skip the 'understanding the interface intro)
