Help please! I lost a pie menu!

Hi,
I’m afraid i pressed a wrong button or something…
I use the hotkey alt q a lot when i’m placing my camera’s and such, and this morning i used it, but i think i pressed a button combi or something, but now its gone… it also doesnt show up in the settings. who is the hero to help me?!

I tried re-installing blender and reload the 4.1 prefferences, but somehow the problem remains

pic 1 is the current situation

Picture 2 is how it was (and is on my laptop)

May be a silly question, but is the addon still active?

Try to navigate to the correct section where it should be. ( so dont use the search) If you accidently removed it and it wasnt a previously manually added shortcut then a restore button will apear on top of the category. That will bring it back.

No… this isn’t silly at all. A non activated addon simply does not have any keys associated.

It is not a addon though. its a standard blender pie menu. you should have it too

Unfortunatly it doesn’t… tried that just now

Like @good_omen says, it’s a (built-in) addon.
I always forget about this fact after having to reactivate the addons. Every. Single. Time

If you reloaded the 4.1 settings, do it get you right, you just switched to 4.2 then?
If thats the case the builtin addons are no longer builtin. You have to activate online access and download them as extensions, there’s just a few that still come shipped.

Judging from the wiki it seems to be built in (4.2), just needs to be activated. But yeah, other addons…

Hmmm… I’m not sure, but I’d guess these icons seem to indicate the “source” of the addon? Like Extention/Community, Built-in and User?

It was built-in in the previous version, but it has a link to the extension platform, so… maybe they forgot to update the wiki?

Yeah had a look, its not in core addons in the local installation. Its also not listed in the addons per default, so I am pretty sure its meant for download now.

I got it back, apparantly it was under ‘missing build in addons’!
