im a new user of the blender program. i downloaded it and it works, but whenever i use it i’ll go to click on something and the whole blender screen will go black. also i have tryed some of the tutorials and when i do exactly what they tell me too it doesn’t work. What am i doing wrong?

It sounds like you have either too little RAM or you need to update the Driver(s) for your video card.

If you tell us which tutorial and what part of it doesn’t work we can help. Some things have changed in the GUI since most of the available tuts were written and some tuts assume you know more than you do so it’s hard to guess at your problem. However, there’s always someone here to help if you give us a link to the tut and tell us where you’re stuck.
