Help with breasts! [warning xxx]!!!

Ok I’m not a pervert or something, I’m just trying to make a 3D model of a anime girl. Now I got a big problem. Her breasts, how do I make breasts?? As you can see on the image her breasts are looking way too boring. Any boys or girls that know how good breasts look like xD

There are so many ways you could approach this and they will differ on different models. I would tend to start from the nipple, then extrude the edges outwards making bigger and bigger circles… once the shape is there, merge them onto the rest of your mesh.

Ok nudity in the title, lol. And your breast tecniques are interesting LOL! But I think I’l keep tweaking them. Cuz your tecnique looks way too realistic. And this is anime style so i won’t work. Thanks for your tip though, and btw do you know which shader that works best for skin?

You mean skin like on the one I posted? I haven’t really looked at the shader seriously yet, just pick the base colour and bring down the spec. Most people like a little subsurface scattering although this will send your rendering times up and some people tend to overdo it. For real skin, you’d likely make a UV map including colour, bump and spec maps but it all depends on the realism you’re going for.

Subsurface scattering is a property of shaders where it gives the effect of light traveling through an item… like when you stand with the sun behind you your ear goes a bit transparent and glows red… same if you hold your hand over a torch in the dark. Search these forums and you will find plenty of examples. It’s in your material settings.

Joking, looks good, but too realistic for a anime. It just occured to me (the noob) that sculping is a very nice tool when dealing with breasts. Thanks for your help:o

LOL :smiley: Of course she did… all I was doing was adding topology. Get that right and your job is so much easier… especially if you’re going to use the sculpt tool. Think you’ll need sculpt “inflate” to bring her down in years… that and maybe the proportional edit tool. :eyebrowlift2:
