I wrote a python script exporter for blender, so I could use my own 3D file format in my OpenGL programs, but there were a few problems I came accross while attempting it. I need to know more about exporting texture information, the use of armatures, and animation. I do not really need anyone to simply tell me how to do it. I only really want links to other scripts that I could look at for reference and a complete guide to blender specific functions and data structures. I could greatly appreciate the help.

try eeshlo’s lightflow script, it does armatures and UV data.
