Help with exporting/resizing

Hello, I’m fairly new to Blender and was having a problem resizing a simple person and having the .raw file change.

Here is the problem:

I made a simple 3d person.
He exports in a .raw triangle format just fine.
When I try to change his size in Blender (SKey) and export him in the same .raw triangle format, the exported vertices are exactly the same, not any smaller or larger.

If I’m doing something wrong, please tell me what.

Thanks,

Paul

When I try to change his size in Blender (SKey) and export him in the same .raw triangle format, the exported vertices are exactly the same, not any smaller or larger.

I think you need to select your object, then

Object->Clear/Apply->Apply Size/Rotation (or ctrl-A, if you don’t like menus).

This should change the “real” size of the object to match your scaling.

When I hit Ctrl+A, it asks: Apply size and rotation. I hit ok, and nothing happens. I don’t quite understand what “apply size and rotation” does.

Is there someway that I can set a size for him before I hit Ctrl+A?

Agggh, thanks for the help,

Paul

EDIT: Ok, I solved the problem, except when I try to resize everything (Guy with bones), I get this message: “Can’t apply to a multi user armature”.

What do I do to fix that?
Thanks again for all your help.

Hit U in Object Mode and make it Single User.

Everything is working a little better now, but for some reason I can still only export one object at a time in the .raw triangle format.

For instance, when I try to export the guy and his hat, I only get one item exported, even when both are selected.

Thanks again for all of the help I’m recieving,

Paul
