I am a beginner. I am adding animation to video; the scenes are filmed in my basement; I am using bedsheets for 3 walls; the 4 is the basement. What do I do for the 360° environment video? How will this affect lighting?
thank you
It’s a little hard to understand what the question is about.
Is it for video synthesis? Is it a question about using as a background?
It would be more helpful if you attach an image to the description. ![]()

It’s about using as a background. The tutorial I am watching uses a special camera for the 360° environment shots: I think it’s for light, reflection.
I don’t plan on using any of that; just the video with the bedsheet walls. should all of this work? I plan on going ahead with it anyway
BTw, :what would a little community activity consist of?
I still don’t understand. (Language problem) ![]()
For example, if you have a video and want to add a 3D object to the video?
- You need to extract the exact camera value.
※ If it is a still image (video), it is okay to use it as an approximate value.
- What if you need the same lighting as the video?
As you mentioned, if you have a 360-degree image, you can make it into an HDRI and use it as lighting. Of course, it is also used for reflection.
However, this is not necessarily necessary.
In some environments, it is possible with similar lighting settings.
The problem is when reflections, refractions, etc. are needed.
What about community activities? ![]()

Just read some posts and spend someminutes… (it’s for SPAM prevention ) for example : how-do-i-increase-my-trust-level in the FAQ

But there are a lot of other interesting things. Maybe have look at the tutorials category. O try the search option (top right:

Hi all, Here goes: I’m planning on adding 3d graphics to a live video/movie). I’m using my iPhone 12 to record video. I looked it up:
aperture is 1.6; focal length is 26mm and frequency is 2*24=48. When I uploar the video, (I’m using 2.8.4; I have an old computer), it starts and stops. The cache, (dark line under the video), looks broken up. I’m watching the Ryan King Art videos; I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I don’t know where to input the above settings, (aperture, etc). If I’m not clear about all of this, please let me know. Thank you
