Help with Modelling Problem: "Deformation" of face/polygon

Hi, I’m trying to do Human modeling but have encounter this problem: some of the faces in my model appeared deform (red circle in attached in image). With subsurf lvl 1, this problem appears to lessen. Any way that I can correct this? Thanks!

could you post a setsolid screen or a wire? It seems to be a topology problem. And subsurf of course smooths the mesh, so the sharp lines are smoother…
