Help with post processing

Hey guys,

Wondering if anybody had some ideas about post processing this render.

Only using blender for a few months now and I am really digging this. Modelled the hexagon units myself and made a pretty rad scene imho. Only now I know it can be even ‘‘radder’’ (is that a word?) but i can’t really figure out how… I am not looking for more modelwork but enhancing the image with light/filter etc.

It also doesn’t help that I am colorblind, so subtle changes is’nt my strong suit.

Any feedback would be appreciated

That’s about as “open ended” as a question can possibly get. What do you want to do with this image, and why? For instance, do you want to emphasize or de-emphasize the tiny human character? Do you want to create some particular mood, such as happiness, fear, or foreboding? It really is entirely up to you. The “post” steps follow from your goals.

This looks awesome! I would go darker. Deeper shadows where anything could lurk. This will also make the neon stand out I think.

Along with going darker ( Sky could be menacing ) … I would say Depth of Field, right now everything is sharp, and blurring out the further objects would be one way… also if you stay light with this, adding a mist pass would give that grey murky atmosphere, and if you go dark it would add an industrial smog.

some good tips guys, thanks! Gave me some insights
