Help wrapping texture around cylinder

I have a hollow cylinder I would like to displace a brick texture around the outer wall for 3d printing, can anyone help with this I have included a screenshot of what i have so far. I am using the latest 2.8 blender.

Hi bro,
Could you show us the UV map? Texture results are highly relying on how the mesh is unwrapped. Use the right level of subdivisions on your mesh. Accurate displacement needs numerous subdivisions. You may want to apply the displacement before exporting to your printer, to ensure the geometry is physically displaced.

If I upload the blend will it include the texture image too?

Be sure to pack external data as well.
(File>External Data>Automatically pack into blend)

It won’t let me upload the blend file because I am a new user. how do I preview the texture mapping live on the model? I have had to go from uv to object mode and back. Also are there any good tips on choosing a photo for displacement?
