How can I get blender to save my work in my external drive It seems to only recognise my internal drive. How can I get this difficult programme to do what I want it to. Save on my external drive for filp sake.

I can’t help you with the saving on an external drive, nor can I send you money for a mouse, sorry.
It depends what system you are on. In OS X for example, external drives mount under /Volumes so that’s the folder you navigate to. In Linux it is likely the same. Windows I’m not sure where they’d be.
Well you could just save on an internal drive, and then move the files.
