Her Majesty's Zeppelins

Spelle, it’s amazing!
How you’ve come to make such big scenes?
Can you describe the steps of your development? When you’ve started to use simulations, when you’ve started to
make your own textures, brushes and etc. It’s very interesting.
Also it’s interesting to know about the preparation steps, to see sketches and notes if you have it on PC.
I hope that Blender Cookie will take an interview with you!

woah! ePIC! Gets some stars from me. how about 6?

Later on, I’ll do my best to post making-of. Hope you’ll like it!

Approximately, a month and a half, from sketch to final compose. It was cool experience - to make it and to learn some Blender tricks at the same time.

Sun lamp and hdri, you’re right) Tried to make hdri cold from “outside” (from the street), and warm from interior side.

I am excited to post making of in a next few weeks.

This work is breathtaking !!!

Looks like a whole lot of work has been put in this image and it sure looks awesome, I can’t even take my eyes off it.

And congrats on the first place, definetly deserved!

Holly sh…! so much detail, are you planning on doing a short animation?
Great job! 5*

Thanks! Maybe some day I’ll do it)

outstanding :open_mouth:

This is super-awesome!! Congratulations!
Wich render engine u used?

Wow, bravo! Looks amazing.

wow, that is an awesome render! i love it!

This is how it’s going to be after the drones take over. Mark my word…on second thought, I didn’t say this.

Thank you! I used cycles. Surprisingly enough, there was little noise because of light setup - dominant sun lamp and hdri.

Oh yeah

I have only one word left. Wow!

Modron, very pleasant to hear it! syunikiso, ampace, bender84, what a positive attitude, thanks a lot!
