I keep running into an issue when I am rigging the model, I align the armature perfectly and I go to parent it with the armature with automatic weights and the model skips and jumps to a different position, can anyone please help me with this. Thank you! (It would be easy to show you a video, but I can’t post video here!

Have you applied all transforms on the objects ?
Yeah I have.
Perhaps the bones are transformed ? make sure all transforms are cleared with alt+g & alt+r and switch the armature to rest pose and back to make sure it doesn’t budge
