Hi! Help to turn off the circular selection in shader editor pls

I do not know how I did it and how to fix it :frowning:

Hello there!

In the Shader Editor window, much like in 3D Viewport, there should be a little arrow on the top left side. Press it to unfold the Toolbar (also hotkey: T).
The first tool is Select and it looks like right now it’s switched to “Select Circle”. “Select Box” is a good default choice.

Normally, it’s easier to (accidently) access circle select with “C”. To cancel it press “right-click”.

I know about this, but when I click on this button, this menu appears:

I don’t understand how I can choose box selection :face_exhaling:

Hm, there appears to be some trick to it (???). I never thought about it…
Try to hold the left button (that is opposite of the one that gives you this menu).

I will read it))

the hot key for that is “W” I know because I’m always hitting it when I go to extrude something. any how just keep hitting it till you have cycled through the different ways to select something and you have what you want.
