High end pc but infinite render

Hi, I’ve started to learn blender from the basics, folloqing some youtube tutorial.
Today I was trying to render a couple of wine glasses, but after a couple of renders, th remaining time started to grow, even over 70minutes!
This is insane, it usually takes seconds.

my setup:
GTX 1080 Gaming X
Intel Core i7-6700k
8x2GB DDR4 Hyper X Ram
And SSD harddisks

What resolution?

samples from 250 to 1000
