Epic shot dude! Perhaps adding a volumetric cube with low value to give it a slightly misty fade could be a good call

I tried to add volume to get some volume effects between clouds and ground but render times were unacceptable

Can’t disagree. The scene looks stunning, your work has turned out terrific. Excellent job!
Finally after 28 hours of rendering it is done.
I have added Volumetric atmosphere to the whole image and changed sky color a bit.
