Hello guys!
I’m happy to share with you my latest prop, based on the Hitachi K-50L from the 1970s.
With this project, I wanted to push my hard-surface modeling, material work, and environmental storytelling while staying faithful to the character of the original object. I added subtle wear, stickers, and personal details to suggest a history behind the prop rather than creating a pristine reproduction.
I worked on the full asset pipeline, from modeling to texturing and final presentation in Unreal Engine.
A special thanks to my good friends Abdelbarri, Matéo and Paul for all their help, feedbacks, and support throughout the entire process.

Super cool work, I really like how you went over the top with details and refinements ! Now I definitely want the same to get a nice retro touch to my living room !

Oh man, how much I wanted to have one of those as a kid! One minor crit: I’m pretty sure the screens were black and white, not color
