HMS Warrior at sea

Other angles.

HMS Warrior at its prime, at sea. The steam-powered armoured frigate was built for the Royal Navy in 1859-1861 and it is listed as part of the National Historic Fleet. Currently held at port in Portsmouth, England.

The sky and the birds were hand-painted in Photoshop, apart from that, everything else were done in Blender.

Modelled in Blender 3.4.
Rendered in Cycles.

This really turned out great! I’m currently working on a detailed ship model as well and this provides some great inspiration to keep going  . Serious question though, Why are you charging so little?

Thanks for the nice words. Keep going on your ship, I’d love to see it once finished.

The bulk of the original model for the ship was modelled as a VFX asset for a film a year or so ago.
So, putting this online for sale was just an extra manuever. And since it is not really creating that much revenue and noise in the first place at the market place, I’m trying to see what is a price point where it starts selling.
It’s not a given that these things sell so well.

Best,
Matias
