To celebrate all the recent love for our old games Hoi and Moon Child, particularly on Bluesky, I fired up Aseprite to create some new Hoi and MC pixel art, for the first time in ± 30 years. 
For the scenery, I used my Amiga version tiles, combined with the Windows version’s background.

I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately. We did already join forces again to prepare the recent portable open source re-releases of our three best games: Moon Child, Hoi and Clockwiser. It was fun to work together again, but I doubt if we would all have the time and energy to start a whole new game from start to finish, promote it on the publication platforms, create promo videos, etcetera etcetera.
For now, I’m much enjoying the surge in love for Moon Child and Hoi, especially on Bluesky.
